SOUND OF MY HEART

Sweet words of sound words

A calming heart to the anger of a child

Seen yet not known

How my words play in the ears of a child and not to be blown

If only I could keep quiet

For the child to hear her sound

Not to shout at the waves of life

But to dance to the music of life

But not all words are sweet

Not all sounds are clear

How could our baby hear the words of the wise?

How could she dance to the music for the price?

I will play the harp of psalms to my Queen

She will teach the child to sing

For this troubled world to lay,

Manger is the best place to stay

I ask life, so many times What do u offer?

He answers, everything and nothing

Live short, live all

for in the end we regret the chances we didn’t take.

Define it to your taste

But in all, choose happiness in Christ

It becomes sane

It becomes clear

You feel hopeful again

AM I NOT CHRISTIAN ENOUGH?

They decree, I humbly request

They conquer, I whisper

Why can’t I shout to pray?

Why can’t I scream to the preachers’ words?

Is my Christ different from his?

Am I not Christian enough?

I sit in the pew listening to the ‘sermon’

The message sounds like a book from Kiyosaki.

They hate the sinner, I dine with the tax collector

How come my bible is different?

Why can’t I say Amen to “Pray against my enemies”?

Am I not Christian enough?

Thy will be done unto me, their way thy God his will

Abide by the Rules they say

His Grace I believe shines on me

Why can’t I pay my tithes to the preacher man?

Why do I think the poor deserves it? Am I not Christian enough?
