The “power” of a man is he who has seen inside a green bottle
Through its prowess, we have seen many a great ‘model’
Get your respect, YES, Your “RESPECT” from your inlaws,
look no further beyond this great bottle.
Imagine their faces and gestures as your mouth rattles
Is it not written, “woe to thee, ye heroes of the wine bottle”?
“Keka bi kyere wa’si” (speak ‘your mind’ to your father inlaw)
Yes, the only moment you feel the man and be the law
Never back down, the only drink that needs no straw
Pleasing to the gods, ahh who do I curse as I pour on the floor?
Stand firm, no shaking, as alert as Captain Claw
Be the man you’ve always wanted to be, let your eyes shine
“Brave and fearless when it comes to mixing of wine”
For it’s only in the Green bottle that life is redefined
Fufu and the green bottle, the stomach delights as they intertwine
Men are made pregnant, adding to the wonders of the world to nine
Only the ‘brave’ count the bottles in the day
How happy “Aunty Ama” is, when the sun blocks her way
They say it has led many astray
Yet only few have disobeyed its strong taste on a tray
The “pleasures” of life rest on the bottle of green today.
One cannot just underestimate the power of Green Bottle and just get away.
