When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see the evil upon man
Evil mind with evil plan
Look at Sudan!
Yet we say we can!
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see the hate in your eyes
The sun fall and rise
Love is spelt backwards, I realize
Yet I see the wicked smiles
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see the woman stripped of her pride
Once beautiful as the King’s bride
Raped of her beauty, her beauty died
Yet she said she tried
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see love gone and gone forever
Wickedness is ruling and it’s not going to be better
Selfishness is all that hover
Yet we say we are clever
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see religion being misused
In the name of it, people abused
It’s a time bomb that can’t be defused
Yet we will not refuse
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
I see one liar, one politician
Out there seeking for their own satisfaction
They talk about hope but bring destruction
Yet we queue in pain for election
When I look into your eyes what do I see?
I see you, I see me
I see the tears that weren’t meant to be
I wish we will be under one tree
And together shout WE ARE FREE…
